This is the first tune I made for the game. I started making it on December 27th 2020. Initially I didn't have any idea of what kind of music would fit the game, so I watched some clips from the first Godzilla japanese movies. I decided to try to make some kind of march like the "Godzilla" one, composed by Akira Ifukube, but a faster one.
I came up with the main melody the day after, after 3 failed attempts (that's my average!) but I reworked to tune many many times!

I finished it on January 30th 2021, and actually I thought it took much longer...
Finally it became a sort of ouverture, embracing many "genres", and it gave me the opportunity to experiment, once again.
For example, I did the chords on two voices (one of them is the bass/drum one) and I used some 4 notes chords without fast arpeggios (in fact only 2 notes are played and the bass).
Notice that the intro is basically the ending of the tune... :) The intro was the last thing I did for this tune... :D

A little note: one of the subtunes was meant to be the character selection tune, but finally we didn't use it.
